NOSW Invites Kat to Teach

Yesterday David and I had a wonderful experience at Bluefield College! We were invited to be a part of the NOSW program…that’s New Opportunity School for Women, directed by Meg Quinn. I was thrilled when she called to invite me to teach for three hours on a Sunday afternoon after hearing what the program was all about.

Yesterday was such a stunningly beautiful day that I was a bit sad to go inside the building to teach. However, once I started to speak to these amazing women (15 students and 4 staff members), all memories of the gorgeous day slipped away. I was truly honored to give them all the tool to relieve stress and anxiety & increase focus and concentration through the Zentangle Method. It’s something they can use for the rest of their lives – talk about a new opportunity!

Here are a few photos from the class. Enjoy!

They made me get in the photo! I am so proud of every single student. This is most of the class. Some skipped out a bit too soon to be in the shot.
